Hi Everyone,

Thank you for registering for class at Casa Dance Studio. If you have not received your Class Confirmation you will be receiving it soon. A general class schedule is attached with the starting dates. Please look at it carefully as some classes have earlier or later start dates.

Below is some info to help you be ready for the first day of class.

Clothing: On the first day, for NEW students, we do not require anything other than comfortable clothes. All Baby, Tiny & Little female students will eventually need a leotard and footless tights with socks or convertible tights (available through the studio). We do not have a color or style requirement for the Tiny Stars, so any Disney Princess, Hello Kitty or other popular character or her favorite color will be fine. The student may wear a leotard with socks or footless tights and socks to the first day of class if you already have them.

Boys should wear sweat pants or shorts and a T-shirt.

Students will also need socks for the Ballet part and a pair of shoes that tie, buckle or velcro on for the Tap part. We do have shoes our students donate to us as they outgrow them. We use these to fit new students with until they get their own. But have a pair of shoes in case we do not have a pair that fits or in case the student does not want to wear someone else’s shoes.

We will measure for shoes the first two weeks of class and place the order by the end of Sept. This gives everyone a chance to make sure they are happy with our class. It also gives the teachers a chance to make sure the child is in the correct class for their age and experience. We prefer to fit the shoes for the students. We know how to fit them to get growing room without the shoes being too big. We also have certain shoes that we prefer for each level to help the feet develop correctly. Our prices are comparable to the shoe stores.

Hair should be pulled back off the face, pony tail or pig tails are fine.

Students previously enrolled at Casa Dance Studio or coming from another school may wear shoes they already have. Experienced dancers should wear tights and a leotard to all classes.

Hip Hop students of any age will need socks and a clean pair of sneakers.

Hula and Belly Dance Students work bare foot. Hula students that have another class before or after Hula should wear convertible tights. Adult Hula students please wear capri pants or shorts. You may wear a sarong or sweater tied around your waist.

You will also be given a handbook with more detailed information at your first day of class.

We are looking forward to seeing you soon.

We hope you have a wonderful Labor Day holiday weekend.
Have a Dance-Filled Day!
